Game designers organized in the Game Designer Association (Spiele-Autoren-Zunft; SAZ) again had a very successful year. After collecting all results of the international awards and competitions, the outcome so far is impressive: 51 game designers were able to obtain 100 prizes and nominations for a total of 65 different games.

The high quality of these game designs convinced many competent juries, which is a proof of both the creativity and the professionalism of many game designers. Congratulations to all of them.

In addition to our continuous support for the professionalization of our members and the representation of their rights, it is our stated aim to increase the public’s awareness of game designers as creators and originators.
