100 exeeded – WOW!!! In 2013, game designers who are members of the Game Designers Association (Spiele-Autoren-Zunft; SAZ) have been extremly successful. The outcome so far is impressive: 46 game designers have been able to obtain 106 prizes and nominations overall for 69 different games.

This proves the high quality with which not only these game designers were able to win over many competent juries. We are delighted at these accolades and will continue supporting the professionalization of our members and the representation of the rights of all game designers. Within the scope of our GAMES ALSO HAVE AUTHORS campaign, we use this success message as another opportunity to bring game designers to the public's attention as creators and originators. This is all the more necessary than before, as the authors are usually not mentioned e.g. on Amazon & Co as well as in press reviews.
