The Jury "Spiel des Jahres e.V." announced the Nominations and recomandation list for this year. Three games each were nominated for "Spiel des Jahres 2024", "Kinderspiel des Jahres 2024" and  "Kennerspiel des Jahres 2024". Other games are listed in the associated recommendation lists.

Nominated for the award "Spiel des Jahres 2024" were:

In the Footsteps of Darwin from Grégory Grard and Matthieu Verdier (Sorry We Are French)
Captain Flip from Paolo Mori and Remo Conzadori (PlayPunk)
Sky Team from Luc Rémond (Kosmos / Scorpion Masqué)

Additionally, the Jury published a recomandation list with seven further games on their website.

Nominated for the award "Kinderspiel des Jahres 2024" were:

Große kleine Edelsteine from Wolfgang Warsch (Schmidt)
Die magischen Schlüssel from Markus Slawitschek and Arno Steinwender (Game Factory / Happy Baobab)
Taco Kitten Pizza from Dave Campbell and Thierry Denoual (Blue Orange)
