The Board of the Spiele-Autoren-Zunft e.V. (Game Designers Association) appointed its former longtime treasurer Christian Beiersdorf as Managing Director starting September 1^st, 2015. Our goal is to expand the professionalization of SAZ in representing the interests of game designers and to relieve the Management Board in this task.

The SAZ follows the decisions of the last General Assembly as well as the corresponding amendments to their statutes. Christian Beiersdorf will resign from his current Board position on 31.08.2015 but continue in an acting role until the election of a new Treasurer. In spring 2016, he will also take over the functions of the members’ office.

We are delighted that with Christian Beiersdorf we get a Managing Director, who brings a wealth of experience of working for more than 30 years in the gaming industry and for more than six years on the SAZ Board.
